About Sling

Sling aims to create a world where sending and receiving money is effortless. The app allows users to pay people, and not numbers - no account numbers, IBANs or sort codes needed, all you need is the recipient's name to send them money. The app leverages blockchain technology to allow for almost instant money transfers, in any currency, for a negligible fee. Sling is available in 29 countries and is available in the Android and iOS app stores. Sling is a product by Avian Labs, Inc.


  • Help us refine and enhance existing brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and coherence across all touch points.

  • Generate design concepts that push the brand visual identity forward, aligning with our overarching brand strategy.

  • Having an opinion on and executing our web presence, including visual assets and layout on our home page.

  • Propose and develop creative content for social media channels, considering current trends and audience preferences.

  • Create high-quality visual assets for marketing ads, ensuring brand integrity and effectiveness in communicating key messages.

  • Work closely with the team to understand project requirements, deadlines, and goals.

  • Iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights to continuously optimize performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in brand representation.

  • Assist in the creation of various marketing materials, including presentations, email templates, and website assets, as needed.


  • Experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital design, and marketing materials.

  • Experience working either in-house or at agencies, preferably within the consumer fintech or related industries.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, such as Figma or the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of brand identity principles and a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience working within full-stack marketing teams, collaborating closely with individuals across different functions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Flexibility to work on-site 2-3 days per week at our office location.

  • Experience with video and animations is a plus.
